Road traffic on National Route DN 7C – Transfagarasan was resumed on Saturday, and will continue for five months, until the end of October, as there are 18 road sectors with rockslide risks.
According to the National Road Company, DN 7C between Bascov, Arges County and the crossroad with DN1 Brasov-Sibiu, Sibiu County, will be open for traffic between June 30 and October 31.
The 18 sectors with rockslide risks are between km 57+100 and km 132+800, where cars are not allowed to stop, while the road sector between km 104+000 and km 130+000 (Bâlea Cascadă) is closed for traffic at night, between 9 pm and 7 am.
